Keeping it Real

I was born and raised in Saskatchewan, Canada… a province in Canada’s beautiful western prairies.  I currently reside in Saskatchewan’s capital city of Regina.  I have lived in Regina since I was four years old and know there’s no better place to establish a career, operate a business, and raise a family.

Personal Life…

I am blessed with the most wonderful of family and friends.  My primary focus in my life is my daughter… she is truly a miracle and I feel that it is my duty to make sure she understands that.  She will accomplish heights in her life, and confront challenges too, that are beyond my imagination, I’m sure… and she will be prepared to face them all head on!

She starts every day with a smile that lights up the house… she lives her days with imagination and without fear.  I see the best of me and the best of her mom in her every single day…

She continues to amaze and inspire me.

I put my all into my family, my friends, my work… I am passionate about those close to me and the things I believe in and sometimes take things a little too seriously… but that is me.  I am an extremely positive person.

I focus on, visualize, and expect the best possible outcomes to life’s winding journey and set goals outside perceived boundaries.  I work hard to achieve those goals and have learned, in life, to trust my instincts…to be true to myself…to keep it real!

I strive to be present for myself and those close to me.  I am interested in personal and professional growth, seeking out inspiration and life enrichment, and choosing to be happy… I believe in the power of positive thought, personal empowerment and motivation through positive intention… I believe in living in the present… sieze the moment before someone else does or before, simply, the moment passes you by!

Professional Life…

I have been involved in the information technology industry, primarily in a coaching/employment management role, for 18 years.  I started at a small sales/service shop in Regina, MicroAge Computer Centre, where I learned the ropes as an account manager and solutions consultant.  From there I moved to CGI Information Systems and Management Consultants where I climbed the ladder from technical analyst to infrastructure architect and, eventually, Manager, Enterprise Infrastructure Services.

Currently, I am a Professional Services Delivery Manager back with MicroAge… one of Canada’s largest information technology sales and services companies.  I believe in actively coaching my employees, empowering them and embracing not only their ideas but the means with which they wish to execute or implement those ideas… my focus is ensuring they are in a position to be able to raise the bar of service delivery beyond that of their client’s expectations.  I believe in coaching and mentoring employees to take their careers into their own hands… to be accountable, not only to the organization, but to themselves.
